Miguel Lloyd has been a media professional since the late 90’s in Norfolk, Virginia, Washington, D.C and Jacksonville, FL. His duties have encompassed roles behind the microphone and camera, as well as in the sales arena. Miguel has sold and marketed many different formats of radio and TV stations, including, Classic Rock, Sportstalk, Hip Hop, R & B and Cable News, during his tenures with Clear Channel and Allbritton Communications. In 2006 he moved his talents to the ad agency arena, where he worked for two major media & marketing agencies in the faith-based industry, Affiliated Media Group and Legacy Group Global. Miguel prides himself as one who helps create marketing plans to serve any demographics, not just selling “spots and dots”.
During his agency career with Affiliated Media Group and Legacy Group Global, he was an integral part of the planning and implementation of projects for various ministries and non-profits across the country. Those projects included media planning & placement, website development, social networking, book promotions, development of infomercial projects and vendor relations to name a few.
His other hat included that of a freelance sports broadcaster, having spent seven years serving his alma mater, Norfolk State University as a popular on air personality. During his career their, he served as a play-by-play announcer, color commentator, producer and talk show host on WNSB-FM. In 2010, he was given the vision to create Life Full Circle Radio, the lifestyle radio show and blog that covers a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from faith to sports. “Because we have so many choices now in how we gain our information and are entertained, it has actually had the opposite effect. We make fewer choices. If we love drama, we watch the Real Housewives, if we love news, our station is locked on CNN all day. We as people are very narrow casted in the programming that we watch on TV and listen to on the radio. Our goal with our show and blog is to broaden our audiences perspective on life,” said Lloyd.
His entire career has been centered on creativity, expression and most importantly results for his clients. Miguel is a tireless researcher and an avid media consumer. He believes to understand the ways to effectively use the markets mediums, you have to understand them. That fervor for the industry has translated into success for his clients.
Miguel is a graduate of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. Where he received his Bachelors of Science in Mass Communication/General Broadcast. He is married to Iraqi war veteran and United States Military Academy Graduate, Tracey and has two beautiful daughters, Saran Elizabeth and Michelle Amanda.
