The 100 Black Men of Jacksonville, Inc. along with B.O.L.D Ministries, and St. Phillips Episcopal church will wrap up 2010 with another event to feed and clothe the homeless as we approach the winter season. The event will be held at St. Phillips Episcopal Church parking lot (On the corner of Laura St. And Union St.) on Saturday December 18th starting at 1pm.
Last winter Jacksonville experienced record cold weather, and this season has already seen bitter cold nights before the official start of winter has come. These organizations are seeking support from the Jacksonville area population by donating new and gently used clothes which will be immediately delivered to the less fortunate that are in need.
To sign up to volunteer, donate clothes and food or for more information, call B.O.L.D Ministries at either 904-894-6186 or 904-514-7126
Please direct all media inquires to Miguel Lloyd, in the J 100 office.
